I just moments ago finished reading
The Seventh Station. I really like McInerny's writing and he does a good job of making the stories exciting but not ridiculously suspenseful. It seems also a good way to become a little more acquainted with Catholicism since I really don't know much about it at this point. I tried to find some DVDs of the Father Dowling tv show that was on several years ago but without much success yet.
In other news, I finished my octo last night! And Oliver is now officially Olivia. After I got done, I realized that she was much to pretty and shiny to be a boy. :) Here are some pics of her progress:

Body parts cut out and waiting to be sewn (the worst part of the whole project =cutting 16 leg pieces!) |
|
Legs waiting to be sewn on...suckers done on one leg. |

Close up of the first leg complete with suckers |

Ta da! Meet Olivia! See how she is much to pretty to be a boy? :) |

I think she is very cute! |

I still haven't decided what I am going to work on next...going to think about it and hopefully start something new tomorrow since I don't have to work. Having this week free has been really nice and helpful for getting things done!
Already started reading my cleaning book too! :)
